Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 3 to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 18.11.2015 and to revoke the order of suspension passed against the petitioner in Proc.No.602/E/2014 dated 03.04.2014 and to reinstate him into service. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Workshop Assistant in the Department of Employment Training on 28.05.2001 and he was placed under suspension by order of the third respondent dated 03.04.2014, since he was implicated in criminal case in Crime No.201 of 2014. He made representation dated 18.11.2015 to the respondents 1 and 3, requesting them to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

revoke the order of suspension. Since no order has been passed, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.G.Sankaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.11.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
