Today, this matter is listed under the caption 'for reporting compliance'. 2.

The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner produced a copy of G.O.(Ms.) No.52 dated 28.04.2026 and submitted that the empowered committee approved and recommended to the Government for sanction of funds to the tune of Rs,1,96,99,339/- for settlement of enhanced compensation in respect of subject LAOP cases.

The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the amount will be released in due course of time. 4.

Since the Government has already passed a G.O., sanctioning the amount, the petitioner is directed to deposit the sanctioned sum of Rs.1,96,99,339/- to the credit of LAOP No.53 of 2015 on the file of the VI Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai on or before 16.06.2026. 5.

List the matter on 17.06.2026, under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.
