The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 4 and 5 to consider his claim for regularisation of service on completion of 10 years as Daily Wage employee in P.W.D. with all monetary benefits.

Heard Mr.S.Saravanan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the respondents had considered the representation of the petitioner and passed orders on 03.05.2018 by stating that the petitioner did not give any proof to show that he was serving continuously for 10 years.

The petitioner has not chosen to challenge the said order dated 03.05.2018 but filed a simple writ of mandamus as though he has produced the proof to show that he was in continuous service for more than 10 years.
