Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the order of detention passed in proceedings in BCDFGISSSV No.1250/2015 dated 15.12.2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent, quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the corpus of the detenu Parthiban @ Parthi, aged about 24 years, Son of Rajamanickam now lodged at Central Prison, Puzhal, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty. [Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner, who is the wife of the detenu, Parthiban @ Parthi, Son of Rajamanickam, aged about 29 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 15.12.2015 against her husband branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 15.12.2015 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.577, dated 12.02.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
