O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the first respondent.

2. This Habeas Corpus Petition, had been listed today, for hearing, under the Special list, on being mentioned by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. This Habeas Corpus Petition had been filed by the father of the detenue, namely Revathy, aged about 19 years, praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the first respondent, to produce the detenue, and set her at liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The petitioner has alleged, that the second respondent had abducted the detenue, and is keeping her in illegal custody. Even though the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the first respondent, on 24.02.2016, no effective steps had been taken, by the first respondent, to trace the detenue. Hence, the petitioner has preferred this present Habeas Corpus Petition, before this Court.

5. Today, when the matter had been listed for hearing, the detenue, namely, Revathy, is present before this Court. On enquiry, she had stated, that she had married the second respondent, on 19.02.2016, and the said marriage had also been registered before the Sub Registrar, Veppur. The Certificate of Registration of Marriage, dated 10.03.2016, is also produced before this Court. The detenue has expressed her willingness, to go along with the second respondent.

6. In view of the submissions made by the detenue, and as she is a major, she is permitted to go along with the second respondent, as per her wish. Since no further orders are necessary, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed, permitting the detenue to live with her husband, as per her wish.
