Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to process the petitioners' application and provide electricity service connection to the petitioners' property situated at their respective Survey Numbers, No.71, Sengodachinnahalli Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri.

ORDER
This Writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to process the petitioners' applications and provide electricity service connection to their respective properties.
2. The case of the petitioners is that, the petitioners are in occupation of the Government lands situated at Sengodachinnahalli Village, Krishnagiri for the past 25 years, by constructing houses and the petitioner are doing agricultural activities in their respective lands. While so, the petitioners made application before the 2nd & 3rd respondents, seeking agricultural service connection to their lands. Though the 2/6
petitioners have submitted all necessary documents including the indemnity bond (Form-3) along with their applications, however, till date, the said applications were not processed by the respondents. Hence, this Writ petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd & 3rd respondents to process the petitioners' respective applications and provide electricity service connection to their lands, as expeditiously as possible.
4. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submits that, petitioners' applications will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed, after conducting appropriate enquiry, within a time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court, with going into the merits of the case, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the 3/6
petitioners' reespective applications on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after conducting a detailed enquiry by providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners and aggrieved persons, if any.
6. With the above directions, this Writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
