O R D E R
This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining wilful disobedience of the order dated 15.06.2023 in W.P. No. 18924 of 2019.
2. While allowing the said writ petition, this Court held that the petitioner is entitled for the relief sought in the writ petition.
3. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the order has been complied and the Government Order in G.O.(D) No. 37 dated 25.04.2025 has also been issued. He placed a copy of the said order before this Court.
4. On 28.04.2025, on perusal of the said G.O., this Court sought clarification from the respondents so as to whether the direction as to giving the promotion to the petitioner notionally by giving retrospective effect has been complied. To clarify the same, the respondents filed an affidavit on 05.06.2025, wherein it is stated that retrospective effect has been given notionally to the petitioner from 15.06.2017 from the date of promotion of his immediate junior Mr. P. Natarajan, in compliance of the order of this Court dated 15.06.2023.

5. In the light of the G.O.(D) No. 37 dated 25.04.2025 issued by the respondents and taking into consideration of the clarification given by the respondents in their affidavit, this Court satisfied that the order of the Court is complied with.
