Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2015 consequently direct the 1st respondent to issue individual patta to the petitioner with respect to the property bearing S.No.81/11 admeasuring 0.32.5 Ares in Sathaonoor Village, Kallakurichi.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.Petitioner claims to be in possession of the land admeasuring to an extent of 0.32.5 ares in S.No.81/11 in Sathanoor Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, and was issued with individual patta No.120 and however, the second respondent as well as the jurisdictional Surveyor had cancelled his individual patta and given joint patta No.391 and in this regard, a representation dated 21.11.2015 was submitted to the respondents and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Subramani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to
