ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 06.02.2025 and to take a decision regarding the request made by the petitioner for allotment of house.

2. Heard Mr.K.Sudhakar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Alagu Gowtham, learned Government Advocate for the 1 st respondent and Mrs.Indumathy Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel for the 2 nd respondent.

3. Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, and considering the grounds raised by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 06.02.2025 and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law and inform the petitioner about the decision taken within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed. 07-07-2025 rka
