Respondents Habeas Corpus petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the order of the 2nd respondent herein made in Memo No.623/BCDFGISSSV/2015, dated 28.07.2015 against the detenu namely Kumar, son of Govindaraj Pillai aged about 41 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, and set aside the same, consequently, directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) Challenging the order of detention dated 28.07.2015 passed by the 2nd respondent by proceeding No.BCDFGISSSV No.623/2015 detaining one Mr. Kumar for a period of one year under Act 14 of 1982, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the detention period itself is over, there is no more scope in this petition and the same may be dismissed.

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
