O R D E R

(The order of the Court was made by V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN,J) This Writ Petition seeks for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2023 by providing the power supply to the petitioner by the 2nd respondent.

2. The petitioner claims that he has a valid consent to operate till 31.03.2024. On this basis, this Court ordered notice to the respondents to find out their stand.

3. Today, Mrs.Shanmugavallisekar, learned Standing Counsel for the 1st respondent produced the proceedings of the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board dated 14.07.2022 whereunder the consent to operate has been suspended. Learned counsel for the Pollution Control Board also invited our attention to the representation under which the petitioner has stated that he 2/4

has rectified all the mistakes that was pointed out by the Pollution Control Board. Therefore, it is for the petitioner to make a fresh representation within a period of two weeks from today pointing out that there are no mistakes or errors on his part and all the errors pointed out have already been rectified. On receipt of said representation, the Pollution Control Board shall pass an order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.
