Heard Mr.Vijayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2. The petitioner, who is a Private Limited Company, has challenged the Bill raised on the petitioner in the month of October 2002, in an Electricity Bill No.1702/2002-2003 dated 08.11.2002 in service connection HT/SC No.340.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that at present, if the petitioner/consumer has any grievance, he has to approach the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum constituted under Section 42(b) of the Indian Electricity Act.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the said Forum.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Consumer Disputes Redrassal Forum, by filing an application within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if it is done, the same shall be dealt with in the manner known to law.
