This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent-Police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.435 of 2024 pending on the file of the respondent-Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police on instructions submitted that after completion of investigation in Crime No.435 of 2024 charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kallakurichi, vide EFiling No.LTN202200002387C202500382.

4. Since the investigation was over and charge sheet has also been

filed before the magistrate concerned, the relief sought for by the petitioner in this criminal original petition has become infructuous. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
