PRAYER: The Criminal Revision Petition is filed under Section 397 r/w 401of the Code of Criminal Procedure, pleased to call for the records pertaining to the judgment dated 24.08.2021 made in C.A.No.13 of 2020 on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur, Ponneri confirming the conviction and sentence passed on him by learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Gummudipoondi in S.T.C.No.1of 2019 dated 06.02.2020 and set aside the same.

(This case has been heard through video conferencing) In view of the order passed by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.316 of 2022 in Crl.R.C.No.733 of 2021 compounding the offence and acquitting the accused, this criminal revision is allowed and the judgment of the Appellate Court made in C.A.No.13 of 2020 passed by the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur, Ponneri dated 24.08.2021, confirming the conviction of judgment passed in S.T.C.No.1of 2019 dated 06.02.2020 by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Gummudipoondi are hereby, set aside. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Bail bond if any executed by the petitioners/accused, shall stand cancelled.

2. The respondent/complainant is permitted to withdraw the deposit amount along with interest, if any accrued, lying before the Trial Court on filing necessary application and on production of proper proof. The Trial Court is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

disburse the amount along with accrued interest to the respondent.
