Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent relating to the proceedings No. Regr/So CV & DP/0777/2021 dated 02.09.2021 and No.Regr/So CV & DP/0777/2021 dated 11.10.2021 issued by first respondent and quash the same and issue a direction to drop all further proceedings against the petitioner further or other orders as this Court may be deem to fit and proper in the interest of justice. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to call for the records of the first respondent relating to the proceedings No. Regr/So CV & DP/0777/2021 dated 02.09.2021 and No.Regr/So CV & DP/0777/2021 dated 11.10.2021 issued by first respondent and quash the same and issue a direction to drop all further proceedings against the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the respondents has already initiated Departmental Proceedings against the three Assistant Professors namely Dr.R.Anitha, Dr.G.Gayathry and Dr.M.Shanmuganathan, who had allegedly received the amounts and mis-appropriated the funds under the NSFM sponsored scheme. He also submits that the petitioner had already been provided with necessary documents. He further submits that as per the petitioner's representation, dated 06.10.2021, further documents will be furnished to the petitioner within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is closed with the following observations:

(i) The respondents are directed to furnish documents as per communication dated 06.10.2021 to the petitioner within a period of 10 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(ii) After receipt of the same, the petitioner is directed to give his reply and co-operate with the respondents for the disciplinary proceedings.

(iii) The disciplinary proceedings shall be completed by the respondents preferably within a period of six months from the reply given by the petitioner.

No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
