ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct expeditious completion of trial in CC.No.3403 of 2023 pending on the file of XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore Chennai.

The learned Government Advocate submitted that this is a case arising out of Section 420, in which all the four accused are currently appearing and there are totally eight witnesses to be examined and that the trial is yet to commence. Further, taking into consideration the fact that the First Information Report is of the year 2022 and the case is of the year 2023, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered on the following term: " XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, is directed to conduct and compete the trial as expeditiously as possible, on any event not later than five months from the date of receipt of web copy the order." 3.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered as prayed for.
