(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) Regarding filing of complaint relating to seizure of Lion's teeth and other wildlife parts, today it is submitted by the seventh respondent District Forest Officer, Ramanathapuram

Division, that the forest officials have filed complaint under Section 55 of the Wildlife Protection Act before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai in P.R.No.216 of 2022 and the matter is yet to be taken cognizance.

2.Considering the fact the concerned Special Court has already taken cognizance of the offence under the NDPS Act and now a separate complaint has also been filed by the forest officials under Section 55 of the Wildlife Protection Act, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition.
