Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.03.2018 requesting to take action for getting orders of the Government to relax 7(a) of Special Rules for Tamil Nadu Revenue Subordinate Service read with Annexure-III (relating to passing the departmental tests) in his favour so as to enable the inclusion of his name in the Panel of Deputy Tahsildars for the year 2015 against the unutilised SC vacancy.

The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, made a submission that based on the Government Order, the case of the writ petitioner was considered and his name was included in the panel of the year 2015 and promoted subsequently. If at all any other grievance exists to the writ petitioner, he is at liberty to redress the same by approaching the Competent Authority.
