ORDER

This Criminal Revision Case has been filed challenging the order dated 10.02.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.13943 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai,

thereby dismissing the petition filed by the petitioner seeking return of his vehicle, viz., Maruthi Ertiga VXI BS IV Car bearing Registration No.TN-10-AS-3477.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

On a perusal of the records, it is seen that though the petitioner is not an accused, the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-10AS-3477, owned by him was used by the accused for the illegal transportation of 245 grams of Methamphetamine. Pursuant thereto, the respondent registered an FIR in Crime No.748 of 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 22(c), 25 and 29(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. It is further seen that the confiscation proceedings have also been initiated against the offended vehicle. Hence, the Trial Court rightly dismissed the petition filed by the petitioner seeking return of the vehicle.

In view of the above discussions, this Court finds no

infirmity or illegality in the order dated 10.02.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.13943 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal Special Court under EC & NDPS Act, Chennai. Accordingly, the Criminal Revision Case stands dismissed.
