This petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 126 of 2023 from the file of the second respondent to any other competent authority.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submits that, based on the complaint received from the petitioner, the second respondent registered an FIR in Crime No. 126 of 2023 for the offences under Section 406 and 420 of IPC. Subsequently, the entire investigation was transferred from the file of the second respondent to the Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CCB), Chennai, as the value of the property involved exceeded Rs. 50 Lakhs. The entire case diary in Crime No. 126 of 2023 was transferred to the CCB, Chennai, for further investigation on 11.07.2023.
