The petitioner herein, aggrieved by the Property Tax Assessment in respect of the petitioner's property situated at No.29 (12), Dr.Giriappa Road, Teynampet, Chennai-600 017, has preferred Writ Petition in W.P.No.15148 of 2018 before this Court seeking issuance of Writ of

Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the demand notice. This Court allowed the said Writ Petition and set aside the demand order and remitted the matter back to the second respondent to pass fresh order after hearing the petitioner. Alleging that no order was passed pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.15148 of 2018 dated 22.11.2018, the Contempt Petition was filed Pending disposal of the Contempt Petition, the respondent has conducted personal hearing and passed order on 17.10.2019, revising the tax at the rate of Rs.51,045/- with effect from 1st half of 2018-2019.

2. Since, the respondent herein has passed the said order on 17.10.2019 pursuant to the direction of this Court, recording the same, this Contempt Petition is closed.
