Religious and Charitable Endowment Department, Thanjavur, the First Respondent herein, to take up the applications filed before him by the Petitioners herein under Section 54(1) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Act (No.22) 1959 in O.A.No. 10541 of 2016 praying for their appointment as Hereditary Trustees of Arulmighu Aladi Mariamman, Temple situated in Keelakkadu, Voimedu Village, Vedharaniyam Taluk, Nagapattinam District, consequent to the demise of their respective father who were functioning as Hereditary Trustees of the said Temple and dispose of the same within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

Mr. M. Maharaja, Learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the Respondents.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that hearing of the application has been fixed on 05.08.2019 (today) and that notice for the same has been issued in advance to the concerned parties. It shall be ensured that there is at least one effective hearing every week showing progress of the matter. 3.

The Petitioner and other concerned parties shall attend the hearing on the said date as well as on the subsequent dates to which it is adjourned and extend their fullest cooperation for the expeditous disposal of the matter. The First Respondent after giving full opportunity of hearing to all parties concerned, shall consider each of their contentions and pass reasoned order and communicate the decision taken to all parties under written acknowledgment.

The Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
