ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2022 within a stipulated time as deem fit by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined in the Tamilnadu Electricity Board as Assessor on 02.06.1982 and retired from service on 30.06.2014. The further case of the petitioner is the he belong to Kondareddy Community which is a Schedule Tribe by virtue of the Community Certificate issued by the Tahsildar Mettur Dam dated 12.09.1978 and as he moved to Dharmapuri thereafter, the Tahsildar Dharmapuri also issued a certificate dated 14.01.1980 confirming his community. The grievance of the petitioner is that after almost 19 years 2/5
of his employment, when the petitioner was working as Accounts Supervisor, the second respondent issued a charge memo questioning the genuinity of the Community Certificate produced at the time of appointment, followed by final show cause notice and thereafter, the petitioner was dismissed from service. Subsequently, as per the Orders of this Court in W.P.No.18774 of 2014, the petitioner was allowed to retire from service and this Court also directed the second respondent to pay provisional pension to the petitioner. However, the terminal benefits and other monetary benefits were not paid by the respondents. In this regard the petitioner made a representation dated 16.04.2022 to the respondents. But the same has not been considered by them. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.04.2022 and pass Orders on the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 3/5
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
