ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed an application under Section 15 of the the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 1969 r/w Rule 11 of Tamil Nadu Registration of Birth and Deaths Rules, 2000 vis-a-vis the demise of her brother late C.Namasivayam. According to the petitioner, her brother died a bachelor, whereas the death certificate shows Nguyen Thi Bong as his wife. This apart, the mother's name is also wrongly stated.

3.Mr.E.C.Ramesh, the learned standing counsel has taken notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

4.The 1st respondent is now required to take a call on the representation / application of the petitioner dated 27.02.2023, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, but only after holding such necessary enquiry and after hearing all those who are likely to be affected by this issue.

5.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
