The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 123, 274 and 275 of BNS Act, r/w Sections 26(2) (iv) and 30(2)(a) of Food Safety and Standards Act, in Crime No.not known of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that, a bag containing Gutka pouches were found in the Railway Station, in which, the petitioner's name and address were mentioned. Hence, he vehemently opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

gd 4.Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsels, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
