When the writ appeal is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has retired from service on superannuation and he has received his monetary benefits as well. Therefore, the learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the writ appeal as per her instructions and she has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle. 2.

In view of the above, the writ appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
