ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to change the revenue records as per Government Order in GO.Ms.No.59 dated 21.01.2006, pertaining to the properties situated at Plot No.16, Door No.32/126, Thiruvenkatapuram, Choolaimedu, Chennai 600 094 comprised in Puliyur Village, Block no.15, R.S.No.84 and 85 part, Egmore - Nungambakkam Taluk and others from Government poramboke to that of Slum Clearance Board, and further direct the third respondent to issue patta in petitioners' names with respect to the schedule property.

2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 10.08.2021 as per GO.Ms.No.59 dated 21.01.2006 and, after giving them opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No order as to costs.
