Parthiban, M/A-26, Son of Gajendramurthy, Confined in Central prison-II, Puzhal, Chennai before this Hon'ble court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the Wife of the detenu. The detenu has been branded as a

S.NAGAMUTHU, J., AND V.BHARATHIDASAN, J., kua "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under the order of the 2nd respondent passed in Memo.No.251/BCDFGISSSV/2016 dated 05.03.2016. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against the husband of the petitioner dated 05.03.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2231, Home, Prohibition & Excise [XIII] Department dated 18.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
