No.16574 of 2015 dated 11.6.2015 within the stipulated period prescribed by this Honourable High Court enabling the petitioner to receive the name transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner from the previous owner based on the Registered Sale Deed Document No.2232/ 2014 dated 13.2.2014.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The 1st respondent, in compliance of the order dated 11.06.2015 made in WP.No.16574/2015, had taken up the matter and advised the petitioner to file an appeal before the Sub Collector, Thiruvallur-the 4th respondent herein and accordingly, it was filed by the petitioner. The 4th respondent also issued a notice for summons dated 19.12.2015 in Na.Ka.No.532/2015/m5, calling upon the petitioner to appear for an enquiry at 10.00 a.m., on 28.12.2015 and according to the petitioner, she appeared before the 4th respondent along with all necessary documents and participated in the enquiry ; but, she is yet to know the progress made in the said enquiry and hence, she came forward to file the present writ petition. 3.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner had prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 4th respondent to proceed with the enquiry as per the summons/notice dated 19.12.2015 in Na.Ka.No.532/2015/m5 and after putting on notice, the person/s concerned, shall pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
