This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in crime No. 185 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the building contractor and one of the victims namely Sujin is also residing along with the defacto complainant. Another victim namely Vijin is residing in the nearby house of the defacto complainant. The defacto complainant and the victims are used to chat with each other near Perumal Kovil, dubai Mahal Back side, Atlantic Nagar. There exists prior dispute between the defacto complainant party and the accused party with regard to parking of vehicle. While so, on 20.04.2024, at about 09.30 p.m., the defacto complainant and the victims were chatting with each other in the place of occurrence. At that time, all the accused attacked the victim and caused injuries to the defacto complainant and victims and they criminally intimidated them. Hence, the case.

3. Heard both sides.

4. On seeing the gravity of the offence, this court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. However, On seeing the nature of death of the deceased, this Court recommends the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Chennnai, is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders to the District Collector, Chennai for disbursing the compensation amount of Rs.75,000/- each (Rupees Seventy Five Thousand Only) to the deceased children as interim compensation in the manner known to law within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Further, the said amount shall be kept in the FD account of the minor account in any one of the Nationalized bank till they attaining the majority. 29.07.2024 pbl
