Mr.Ganesan, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner after passing of the order informed him that the regular promotions are not granted to the petitioner. Inadvertently, the submission has been made before this Court that the petitioner was promoted to the higher post and based on such submission, the writ petition was closed. Now, the petitioner has chosen to argue the case on merits.

2. That being the case, the order passed by this Court on 11.08.2022 in W.P.No.4245 of 2015 is restored on file and the writ miscellaneous petition is ordered accordingly. The petitioner is at liberty to argue the case on merits.

3. Registry is directed to list the matter before the Court holding the roster.
