This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.363 of 2023 on the file of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mettur, thereby taken cognizance for the offence punishable under Sections 364, 457, 201, 120B, 365, 342, 396, 397, 380 & 109 of IPC, as against the petitioner.

When the matter was listed on 01.10.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Thereafter, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not take any steps to list the matter. Even today also, when the matter is taken up for hearing, no one is representation for the petitioner.

Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as non-prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
