This application has been filed to condone the delay of 10 days in filing the written statement of the first defendant.

For reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the application, delay in re-presentation was allowed on the last hearing date, namely 24.07.2024 and in the interest of justice and considering the trajectory of the suit, it is just and proper that the written statement of the first defendant is accepted and hence this application is ordered. The delay of 10 days in filing the written statement of the first defendant is condoned. Registry is directed to receive the Written statement of the first defendant and place it in the case bundle.
