For Petitioners : Mr.A.Ganesan For Respondents : Mr.M.Venkateswaran, SGP COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to receive the application of the petitioners dated 05.07.2024 in Form CCPA along with the prescribed fee through online for the grant of Auto rickshaw permit to operate the vehicle within radius of 30 k.m distance from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem District and from Yercaud Bus Stand, Yercaud, Salem District respectively and to consider the same and pass orders.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The issue involved in these Writ Petitions was dealt with in the earlier Writ Petition in W.P.No.9394 of 2024 dated 10.04.2024. This Court after considering the earlier order passed in this regard, issued a direction to the concerned Regional Transport Officer. Similar orders can 2/4

also be issued in the present case, since, the said order will ensure to the benefit of the petitioners also.

In the result, these Writ Petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respondents to receive the application of the petitioners dated 05.07.2024 in form CCPA along with the prescribed fee paid by the petitioners through online for the grant of Auto rickshaw permit and consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
