2. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.

3. The petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Magistrate without fail on the next date of hearing, and the learned Magistrate is directed to expedite the proceedings. If any person remains unserved, the respondent police shall take immediate steps to effect service, as already nine years have passed since the registration of the crime and the matter cannot be kept pending at the P.R.C. stage any longer.
