ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the second respondent to shift the electricity meter bearing service connection No.224:013:93 from the premises of the fourth respondent to the outside wall of the premises at No.57/25, Jubilee Road, West Mambalam, Chennai-33. 2.However, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the respondent Electricity Board fairly submitted that due to the pendency of the suit in O.S.No.5845 of 2007 before the VI Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, the request of the petitioner has not been considered by the respondent Electricity Board. submitted that if a fresh representation is submitted by the petitioner, the same will be considered by the respondent Electricity Board on merits and in accordance with law, which has not been opposed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation enclosing all the required documents to the respondent Electricity Board along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such submission, the respondent Electricity Board is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.
