Respondents Prayer: The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to delete the fourth respondent to delete the fourth respondent name in the UDR patta on the file of the third respondent comprising in S.No.216 admeasuring about 410 squqre feet situated at Bagaveli Village, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District and consequently to issue patta in favour of the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation dated 2.07.2012.

It is the case of the petitioner that the property comprised in S.No.216, Bagaveli village, Wallajah Taluk, Vellore District is belonging to him and his family. However, patta has been wrongly issued in the name of respondent No.4. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 2.7.2012 to the respondent No.1. requesting appropriate action to be taken. As no action is forthcoming, the present writ petition has been filed.

A perusal of the records would show that on the earlier representation of the petitioner dated 19.12.2011, the The Revenue Divisional Officer, Ranipet, Vellore in and by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings in O.Mu.(A2)/8903/2011 dated 8.2.2012, directed the respondent No.3 to file a report after due enquiry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no such report was filed and no enquiry was done by the respondent No.3.

In such view of the matter, respondent No.3, is directed to conduct an enquiry and send a report to the Sub Collector, Ranipet within eight weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of the order as directed in the proceedings dated 8.2.2012 after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondent No.4. Based upon the same, the Sub-Collector, Ranipet is directed to pass appropriate final order, once again after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as respondent No.4 and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a further period of six weeks. 4.

With the above direction the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently the connected M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
