This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 02.12.2022 in Crl.O.P. No.29936 of 2022 to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two blood related sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.

Considering the period of incarceration for the petitioner from the date of his arrest i.e., on 15.07.2022, this Court is inclined to modify the condition to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.
