O R D E R

This petition has been field to direct the trial court to dispose of the case in C.C.No.53 of 2019 on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Sangarapuram, within a stipulated period.

2. The greivance of the petitioner is that in the year 2017 a case was registered against the petitioner in Crime No.119 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 147, 294 (b), 352, 506(2) of IPC. Two years thereafter, a charge sheet was filed. There are totally six accussed in this case and they are regularly appearing before the trial Court. Now, till date, the witnesses have not been cross-examined. Hence, he seeks direction to complete the trial within the stipulated period. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there are totally nine witnesses and summons have been taken to L.W.1 to L.W.6 for the cross-examination on 16.12.2021.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the date on which the witnesses appear before the Trial Court, they will cross-examine the witnesses without seeking adjournment and they will co-operate with the trial and they will not be the reason for any delay.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the trial Court to complete the trial as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this Order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
