Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents to pay the petitioner the arrears of difference in wages payable to him as per the pay fixation order dated 14.02.2020 for the period from 25.10.1993 to 20.01.2020 to pay him the difference in Gratuity and Earned leave salary and the amounts payable to the petitioner under the Family Benefit Fund Scheme Social security Scheme and the post retirement benefit fund 1/5

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner the arrears of difference in wages payable to him as per the pay fixation order dated 14.02.2020 for the period from 25.10.1993 to 20.01.2020 to pay him the difference in Gratuity and Earned leave salary and the amounts payable to the petitioner under the Family Benefit Fund Scheme Social security Scheme and the post retirement benefit fund scheme and the IRT contributions together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum for all the above benefits within a specified time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the revised pay has 2/5

already been fixed on 14.02.2020, the differential amount has not been paid to him. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. As the revised pay has already been fixed on 14.02.2020, this Court is of the view that the respondent cannot withhold the amount. In such view of the matter, the respondent is directed to disburse the differential amount payable to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
