ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 15.03.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.6920 of 2024, thereby directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner seeking regularization of his service as Forest Watcher from 08.03.1999 notionally for the purpose of getting pension by taking into account his seniority and qualification and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the first respondent considered the case of the petitioner and passed order in G.O.(2D)No.174 Environment, Climate Change and Forests (FR.2(ii)) Department, dated 01.09.2025. He also produced a copy of the government order dated 01.09.2025, before this Court.

Recording the said submission, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
