ORDER

The present wit petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that when the petitioner was in service, he was facing some disciplinary proceedings and that now, all the disciplinary proceedings have been closed, and also the petitioner was permitted to retire from service. It is the further submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner's pay is not on par with his immediate junior, he has sent a representation to the respondents on 04.02.2025 and such representation is yet to be considered by them.

3.At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the petitioners 'representation dated 04.02.2025 within a reasonable time. 4.Heard the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials available on record.

5.In such view of the submissions, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.02.2025 and pass order according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
