(Neurosurgery) for the academic year 2013-2014 and select and admit the petitioners for the said course and also to list out the institutions coming under the control of State Government and other Private Institution in future.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking a Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the Clause 10(d) of the prospectus issued by the 2nd Respondent for the year 2013-2014 dated 12.12.2012 for selection to Post Graduate Degree/Diploma/MDS 5 year/M.Ch.(Neurosurgery) Courses and quash the same in so far as the petitioners are concerened and consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioners as service candidates for the admission for PG Degree/Diploma/MDS 5 years/M.Ch.(Neurosurgery) for the academic year 2013-2014 and select and admit the petitioners for the said course and also to list out the institutions coming under the control of State Government and other Private Institution in future.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous, as the relief sought for relates to the academic year 2013-2014. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
