Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.114/ 2021, dated 06.10.2021 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's son Rajkamal @ Kamal, S/o. Rajendiran, aged about 27 years, the detenu, now confined in the Central Prison-II, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set the petitioner's son Rajkamal@Kamal, S/o. Rajendiran, aged about 27 years, the detenu herein at liberty.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo No.B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V No.114/2021 dated 06.10.2021 detaining her son as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2 (f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5793, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 26.11.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
