ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that trial in the case has begun and almost 102 witnesses have been examined on the side of the prosecution.

2. In view of the fact that substantial progress had already taken place in the trial of the case and in the interest of depositors, this Court does not want to interfere with at this stage. However, it is open for the petitioner to raise all the points raised in the original petition before the trial court. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are willing to settle all the claim of the depositors. If that be so, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the trial court for compounding of offences.

3. In the result, the original petition is dismissed with the above observations. Consequently, connected MPs are closed.
