Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records of the second respondent, in his proceeding Memo No.146/BCDFGISSSV/2016 Dated 18.02.2016 to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to produce the Detenu, Thiru Kolusu @ Venkatesan aged 26 years now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal set him liberty forthwith.

[Order of the Court was made by G.CHOCKALINGAM, J.] The petitioner, who is the sister of the detenu, Kolusu @ Venkatesan, male, aged 26 years, S/o. Thiru. Chakravarthy, residing at No.427, 3rd Block, Mugappair East, Chennai - 600 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

037, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 18.02.2016 against her brother branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Cyber Law Offenders, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Sexual Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982 [Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982].

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent as against brother of the petitioner dated 18.02.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.2331, dated 19.05.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
