This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to investigate on the petitioner's complaint dated 22.7.2019 and trace out the missing original documents (1)Settlement deed dated 19.05.2008 (Doc.No.784/2008) (2)Sale agreement dated 19.05.2008 (Doc.No.785/2008) and (3)Cancellation of Agreement dated 29.09.2008 (Doc.No.1550/2008) and if the respondent are unable to trace out the same issue the non-traceable certificate. 2.The property originally belonged to the father of the petitioner and he has executed a settlement deed dated 19.05.2008 in favour of his wife, namely, mother of the petitioner. settlement deed and inspite of the best efforts, she was not able to trace it. The petitioner also lost two registered agreements also. Therefore, the petitioner was taking steps to get a certified copy of the documents and she also published in the news paper about the missing documents. The petitioner has also given a complaint to the respondent police about the lost documents and for the issuance of non-traceable certificate. Since the same is pending, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and if the respondent is not able to trace the documents, the respondent police shall issue non-traceable certificate to the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
