2.The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the property admeasuring to an extent of 3313 sq.ft. situated at Plot no.15, S.No.446, Perungalathur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District and earlier, father of the petitioner was in possession and enjoyment of the property and on his demise on 27.02.1992, the mother of the petitioner succeeded to his Estate and subsequently, on her demise on 30.11.1997, the petitioner had succeeded to the Estate.

3.The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that after he acquired ownership, he submitted an application for transfer of patta vide, application dated 13.06.2016 and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition. 4.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 13.06.2016 and the representation dated 30.06.2016, in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
