ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to consider and pass Orders on the petitioner's unnumbered Appeal No. of 2022 dated 21.10.2022 filed against the Order in Na.Ka.No.1741/2014A dated 17.09.2022 passed by the second respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 13.06.2024.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The case of the petitioner is that she had purchased a land in Survey No.21/2 in Kongandevan Kuppam Village, Mathuranthagam Taluk to an extent of 1 acre and 30 cents of land on 14.12.1987. As joint patta has been granted, the petitioner filed objection on 21.12.2012 and the Tahsildar, Cheyyur refused to issue patta in the name of the petitioner. Challenging the same, the petitioner had 2/4

filed an appeal before the second respondent and the second respondent has simply dismissed the appeal as against which she filed a revision before the first respondent and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 21.10.2022 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
