Mr.Vadivelu Deenadayalan Additional Government Pleader For R2 to R5 COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed seeking to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 09.12.2022 and to direct the land acquisition officer to measure the property in Survey No 144/2, measuring 25 cents out of 4.26 acres, Punja Agricultural Land situated at No 174 Vadakal Village, within the registration district of Chengalput and Registration Sub-District of Sri Peruambuthur and release the unused property to the petitioner. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners land were acquired for the development of SIPCOT Sripermbathur Expansion Scheme - II.

Though the petitioner objected the acquisition, a call letter has been sent by the 3rd respondent for the acquisition of the petitioners land and also to get compensation. Subsequently an enquiry has also been conducted. While the petitioners were fighting for compensation, the SIPCOT has fixed the stones for a portion of property required by them and a portion of property is left over without being used. Therefore, the petitioners made their representations dated 09.12.2022, requesting the 1st respondent to direct the land acquisition officer to measure the petitioners' properties and to release the unused property to the petitioners.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 5, would submit that the representations of the petitioners dated 09.12.2022 will be considered, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 5.

5.Considering the submissions made by either parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents 3 and 5, to consider the petitioners representations dated 09.12.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the aforesaid directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
